Toni Ruffino, APRN is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute. Her role is dedicated to supporting patients in their survivorship journey after the completion of proton therapy radiation. Ms. Ruffino has over 16 years of experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner, supporting patients to improve their health and proactively care for their physical and emotional needs.
Ms. Ruffino completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of North Florida followed by her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree also at the University of North Florida. Her commitment to patient support and advocacy stems from her comprehensive experience caring for patients after surgery, trauma and in intensive care units at UF Health Jacksonville since 2007.
Toni Ruffino, APRN participates in the multidisciplinary care of patients to ensure that all aspects of a patient’s healthcare needs are addressed as they complete proton therapy treatment and move forward in the healing process.
